Edwin Grummitt

Edwin Grummitt specializes in telecoms strategy, transactions, public policy and regulation. With more than 20 years of experience in Telecom, Media and Technology (“TMT”) strategy consulting, Mr. Grummitt has advised operators, investors, policymakers and regulators around the world.

Mr. Grummitt has supported a range of TMT transactions of all types and asset classes, including mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, carve-outs and license bids on operators, towers, fiber, satellite and digital startups. His work focuses on valuation and due diligence, extending into deal structuring and integration.

In the public sector, Mr. Grummitt has worked with policymakers, regulators and sovereign wealth funds on market structuring, Foreign Direct Investment (”FDI”) stimulus, wholesale and retail price controls and spectrum licensing.

Mr. Grummitt has advised clients internationally, focusing on the Middle East and Africa, and has been based in Dubai since 2007.

Relevant Experience:

• Worked at Analysys Mason in London, and ultimately serving as Partner and Head of the Middle East and Africa (“MEA”) in Dubai

• Worked with leading companies such as Turk Telecom, LEO sat. capacity and Sudatel Group

• Worked with government entities such as the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Infocomm Media Development Authority in Singapore and SK Telecom in South Korea
