Francesco Di Ianni specializes in growth strategy, commercial due diligence, M&A and transformation. Mr. Di Ianni has over 15 years of experience in media and entertainment (OTT, TV, film, interactive and sports) and consulting.
Mr. Di Ianni focuses on driving growth strategy for intellectual property (“IP”) and sports-centric businesses across diverse verticals including film, TV, gaming, sports, OTT, site-based entertainment, media & broadcast supply chain, consumer products and retail. He has supported the launch and roll out of multiple streaming initiatives and supported the transformation of legacy M&E organizations into “direct-to-consumer” businesses.
Mr. Di Ianni advises corporate clients, private equity institutions and lenders on corporate and portfolio strategy, new business development and monetization, digital transformation, market assessment, international expansion and market entry, pricing/ promotion strategy, valuation, due diligence, commercial and operational improvement.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Di lanni was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Deluxe Entertainment, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, growth and transformation initiatives.
Previously, Mr. Di Ianni was a senior member of the Media & Entertainment practice at L.E.K. Consulting, where he led strategy and due diligence projects for major studios, IP owners, post-production service providers and TV networks. Before that, he was Business Intelligence Director at Ubisoft Entertainment, where he evaluated the performance of both production and distribution activities. Earlier in his career he held multiple consulting roles in the United States and Europe, with Accenture, IBM BCS and PwC Consulting.
Mr. Di Ianni frequently speaks on industry panels at events such as TMA and the LA Games Conference. He is fluent in English, Italian and French and conversational in German and Spanish.
