Juan Rio is the Global Telecommunications Sector Co-Leader at FTI Delta. He holds 25 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, digital and technology sectors. Known for a combination of strategy and relentless execution, his professional career has been focused on corporate strategy, transformation, and business/segment growth.
During his professional trajectory, Mr. Rio has worked in more than 20 countries, developing a strong international experience, successfully managing teams of radically different backgrounds and characteristics, from 2-3 highly intrapreneurial people to hundreds of cross-functional team members.
Mr. Rio was part of the leadership team at Delta Partners, the TMT strategy consulting and investment banking boutique now integrated into FTI Delta. Prior to joining Delta Partners, he worked for several advisory firms in strategy consulting and corporate finance, including McKinsey & Company, Bank of America and Oliver Wyman.
He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Catalan and is conversational in French.
